Es el artista underground del momento en Sidney. Punk, hip hop, electronica, y pronto también pop, son estilos en los que se mueve a la perfección. Su próximo disco, titulado “Simo Soo”, saldrá a la venta el próximo mes de octubre.
Comienzos: “Empecé a hacer música de muy joven, sobre los cinco o seis años. A esa edad tocaba el piano clásico y sobre los 12 ya tocaba la guitarra, tocaba varios instrumentos. A los 16 años ya estaba haciendo música electrónica con sintetizadores, y ya era muy punk”.
Música: “Me siento influenciado por muchas cosas y tendencias musicales, me crié en el punk y en el hip hop, pero siempre escuchaba también más tipos de música. Creo que mi música está en algún lugar entre una realización y composición seria y estudiada y muchos errores divertidos”.
Producción: “Mis producciones tienen siempre una base sampler, rara vez uso Midi, aunque programo los drums yo mismo, utilizo ruidos caseros que sólo yo sé que están ahí, como hacer sonidos con cáscaras de huevos o golpear con una cinta, entre otras idas de olla…”.

Sydney’s underground artist du jour. He combines punk, hip hop, electronica, and now pop too, to absolute perfection. His upcoming album, called “Simo Soo”, will hit the shelves in October.
Beginnings: “I started making music when I was really young, around five or six. At that age I played classical piano and around the age of 12 I could play the guitar, well, several instruments. When I was 16 I was already making electronic music with synths, and it was already pretty punk”.
Music: “I feel as though I’m influenced by a lot of things and music trends, I grew up with punk and hip hop, but I always listened to all kinds of music. I think that my music is somewhere between serious, studied creation and composition and some happy mistakes”.
Production: “My productions always have a base sample, I rarely use Midi, although I programme the drums myself, using DIY sounds that only I know are there, like making sounds with eggshells or hitting a belt around, among other pretty unusual things…”
